Beachcomber

Introducing the captivating Beachcomber sock pattern – a playful and enchanting design that showcases a delightful interplay of cables, twisted stitches, and elegant eyelets. This harmonious motif gracefully flows along the instep and extends from the back of the leg all the way into the intricately integrated heel flap.

Elevating this pattern to a whole new level of visual allure is the exquisite yarn choice: the mesmerizing Into the Mystic colourway from Small Fish Yarn. The marriage between this stunning colorway and the enchanting motif is nothing short of magical, sending my purple-loving heart soaring with joy.

Description

Worked in the round, Beachcomber contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for a heel flap & gusset, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives).

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers – so you don’t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).

This pattern is available in our Standard formatting. Low-visibility and screen-reader-accessible versions of this pattern are available with this pattern purchase. The low-visibility format is 24pt print in Arial, black font, no italics, and contains written directions (there are no charts to work from). The screen reader format has all the items mentioned above, contains no abbreviations, and accessibility was checked by the read-aloud function on both a Windows PC and Android device.
