Description
Bellamy – This hat design is worked bottom-up, starting with the brim, followed by the body, and then decreasing for the crown. When the crown becomes too small to continue, you’ll switch to the magic loop method or DPNs (depending on your knitting preference).
This hat pattern has multiple sizes and includes two weights of yarn – so you’ll be able to find the perfect fit! Worked in the round, this pattern contains written directions and charts.
This hat pattern shines well with solid, semi-solid, lightly variegated, or speckled yarns. Picking an appropriate yarn for this project will ensure the yarn and the pattern are not in competition with one another, rather they’re working together to create something magical.

All swatches were worked in stockinette with larger suggested needles = 4” / 10 cm, after blocking.
Fingering Weight Hat: 32 stitches by 45 rounds
Worsted Weight Hat: 19.5 stitches by 29 rounds
Gauge is crucial in obtaining the correct fit. Changes in gauge will result in a size difference for your finished hat and the yardage requirements for your project.
