Checklist: Prepping your Pattern for Tech Editing

$0.00

Many designers avoid using a tech editor because they can get costly! Trust me; I get it. One way you can help keep your tech editing costs down is by ensuring the pattern is as cleaned up as possible before you send it to your tech editor and by giving your tech editor everything they need for the tech editing process.

If there are many inconsistencies in a pattern, it makes the tech editor’s job a lot harder to pull out significant errors. Prepping the pattern for tech editing will help get more things caught in the process, but make your tech editor love you that much more, all while keeping your costs as a designer down (which is excellent when you’re an independent knitwear designer!)
