Harper

$11.25

Harper is a delightful top-down crescent-shape shawl that dabbles in a variety of techniques, like beading and blending colors to give you a 3-colored effect from 2 skeins! The lace motif creates a special rippling that looks cool in two similarly colored yarns.

If beads aren’t your jam, check out some tester projects on Ravelry, the shawl looks equally as beautiful without them!

Description

Harper – This top-down crescent-shaped shawl increases six stitches every two rows, giving the wings that classic crescent-shawl curl. Worked flat, Harper contains written directions and charts. A handy-dandy progress tracker is included to help you with your row and stitch counts.

This shawl pattern shines well with semi-solid, or lightly variegated/speckled yarns. You’ll blend two of the colors in section 2, by alternating the colors every two rows, so choosing two colorways that pair well together and are similar in color will achieve the desired look. Note: Colorways that are of a higher contrast will result in a striped appearance, not a cohesive blend. Please plan accordingly!

This pattern is available in our Standard formatting. Low-visibility and screen-reader-accessible versions of this pattern are available with this pattern purchase. The low-visibility format is 24pt print in Arial, black font, no italics, and contains written directions (there are no charts to work from). The screen reader format has all the items mentioned above, contains no abbreviations, and accessibility was checked by the read-aloud function on both a Windows PC and Android device.
