Mervin is an Irish name that means “Lover of the sea”. Mervin uses the beautiful hand-dyed Sea Foam colorway from Yarn Vibes, a company that produces 100% Irish wool.

Worked in the round, Mervin contains written directions and charts. This hat pattern is written for one size, that comfortably fits a head that’s 20-22” in circumference.

Mervin is written to be worked on circular needles. When the crown becomes too small to continue, you’ll switch to the magic loop method. However, the pattern notes do contain details should you wish to use double pointed needles throughout instead.

Curt is seen here wearing the medium size and has a 22” (56 cm) circumference head.

BONUS: Cathmore is included in this download!
