As soon as I saw this yarn from Lofty Loops, I needed to design something fantastic with it. The color is Davy’s Depth’s, which needed to have some swirl like stitches and waves.

Worked in the round, Roxi contains written directions and charts. This hat pattern features 3 sizes; Small, Medium, & Large. Roxi includes a hat worksheet, so you know how to measure your head to achieve a perfect fit.

Roxi is written to be worked on circular needles. When the crown becomes too small to continue, you’ll switch to the magic loop method. However, the pattern notes do contain details should you wish to use double pointed needles throughout instead.

• US4 (3.5 mm) 16” (41 cm) circular needle, or size required to obtain gauge
• US6 (4 mm) 16” (41 cm) circular needle, or size required to obtain gauge
• Four US6 (4 mm) double pointed needles (DPNs), or size required to obtain gauge (These are optional if you prefer not to work the crown with magic loop.)
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• 150-175 yds (138-160 m) DK weight yarn

Gauge
17 Stitches by 28 rows worked in the round in stockinette stitch = 4” (10 cm) on US6 (4 mm) needles, before blocking.

Size Information
(Please refer to sizing guide on page 3 of this pattern to assess the correct size for you.)
Small (S): 17.5” (44 cm) circumference, 9” (23 cm) deep. An ideal size for 17.5-19.5” (44-49 cm) circumference heads.
Medium (M): 20” (51 cm) circumference, 9” (23 cm) deep. An ideal size for 20-22” (52-56 cm) circumference heads.
Large (L): 22.5” (58 cm) circumference, 9” (23 cm) deep. An ideal size for 22.5-24.5” (58-62 cm) circumference heads.
