In junior high (middle school to some of you folks), we had to plan a “mission to Mars” and what we would bring with us. My 12-year-old brain wasn’t thinking of logical things I’d need to survive on an unknown planet, so when I showed up on launch day, I had my saxophone and books. My way forward on a new planet was the arts! When I reflect on this, it makes me giggle considering the creative role I find myself in as a knitwear designer. It’s like it was written in the stars, that I’d be in a form of arts. ❤️
