Vincent

$7.00

Vincent (played by Travolta) and Mia (portrayed by Thurman) indulge in a nostalgic dining experience at Jack Rabbit Slims, a charming 1950s-themed restaurant. Amidst the retro ambiance, they take part in a lively twist contest, showcasing their dance moves and ultimately clinching victory, a triumph they celebrate as they head home with the gleaming trophy.

Speaking of twists and turns, the Vincent sock pattern exudes a captivating charm of its own. Delicately adorned with intricate cables and alluring eyelets, the pattern elegantly weaves its way along the sock’s surface, creating a visual journey that mirrors the spirited dance of Vincent and Mia. When combined with the vibrant Brain Storm colorway from Cactus Yarn Studio, the sock becomes a tapestry of memories that seamlessly transport you back to the cinematic allure of the movie itself.

Description

Worked in the round, Vincent contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives).

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers – so you don’t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).

This pattern is available in our Standard formatting. Low-visibility and screen-reader-accessible versions of this pattern are available with this pattern purchase. The low-visibility format is 24pt print in Arial, black font, no italics, and contains written directions (there are no charts to work from). The screen reader format has all the items mentioned above, contains no abbreviations, and accessibility was checked by the read-aloud function on both a Windows PC and Android device.
