Indulge in the ultimate Halloween experience with a touch of The Rocky Horror Picture Show! Yes, you guessed it—our captivating Columbia sock pattern draws its inspiration from the iconic cult classic itself.

My entrancing journey into The Rocky Horror Picture Show commenced at the tender age of 14, and oh, what a wild ride it was. Through the years beyond high school, my adoration for this cinematic gem only grew stronger. I would transform into Magenta (my curls reaching astronomical frizz levels!), gleefully tossing toast and belting out tunes during those enchanting Halloween theatre screenings. Omitting this masterpiece from our creative realm would have been an egregious disservice to its sheer brilliance.

So, gather your yarn as we ready ourselves for a Timewarp. Prepare to accompany Janet and Brad on their riveting escapade, encountering a kaleidoscope of captivating characters and rekindling your love affair with this timeless cinematic marvel.

Worked in the round, Columbia contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives).

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers – so you don’t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).
