Dragonrider

$8.50

Embark on an epic adventure with the Dragonrider sock pattern, where majestic dragons soar through the skies, and the wearer is bestowed with the esteemed status of a Dragonrider, belonging to a clandestine fellowship. These exquisitely adorned socks not only bring joy to the wearer but also ignite a sense of wonder and magic.

As the maker, Iโ€™ve had the pleasure of initiating several novices into the ranks of Dragonriders by gifting them a pair of these remarkable socks. Now, itโ€™s your turn to choose whom to welcome into this exclusive realm. Will you share the joy of dragon riding with a fellow knitter or keep the magic all to yourself? Whichever path you choose, let the Dragonrider sock pattern be your guide on a soaring journey through imagination and creativity.

Worked in the round, Dragonrider contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives).

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead, should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers โ€“ so you donโ€™t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).
