Mallory and I had the fortune of picking up this fabulous yarn at a fiber festival here in Alberta last September. When I had originally seen the skeins together I knew they were going to grow up to be a part of this shawl design. Weird how colors just speak to you!
The talented Janie will be on board again as Flockin’ Awesome’s French Translator.
Flockin’ Awesome is an asymmetrical shawl pattern that is worked flat, and the pattern consists of both written directions and charts. Each section is broken down by yardage used so you’ll know you’re on the right track, and it gives you some wiggle room to really customize your color choices. The pattern includes detailed instructions for the techniques used.

21 Stitches by 36 rows in garter stitch = 4” (10 cm) on US6 (4 mm) needles, before blocking.
Finished Measurements
Approximately 108” (275 cm) across the wingspan, deep after blocking.
