Frankenfeet

$8.50

Frankenfeet presents a delightful and creative approach to making the most of your surplus sock yarn, repurposing remnants from various sock projects. This elegant stitch showcases the innate beauty of any sock yarn, with its uncomplicated yet captivating blend of delicate eyelets and gentle ripples that seamlessly transition between colour changes. In this design, the yarn truly takes centre stage, embodying the essence of a star performer.ย

Worked in the round, Frankenfeet contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives).

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers โ€“ so you donโ€™t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).
