Obsessed. I dreamt of this top-down crescent-shaped shawl and became utterly obsessed with turning it into a reality. I had picked up the Little Mermaids skein by Color Adventures quite some time ago, deliberating over what I wanted to turn this little gem into. After many patterns searching, I couldn’t find anything that would do the gorgeous colorway any justice… So, I created Mermaid Kisses.

Mermaid Kisses is a top-down crescent-shaped shawl that utilizes two lovely skeins of yarn, paired perfectly for the scale liked lace and finished off with the tail lace.

Worked flat, Mermaid Kisses contains written directions, charts, and is broken down into comprehensive sections. The pattern includes detailed instructions for the techniques used and a handy-dandy progress tracker to help you keep track of your row and stitch counts.

Gauge
24 stitches by 32 rows in stockinette stitch = 4” (10 cm) on US6 (4 mm) metal needles, after blocking.

Finished Measurements
Approximately 84” (214 cm) across the wingspan, 36” (92 cm) deep after blocking.
