Picked this yarn up at Edmonton’s Fiber Frolic from Sea Turtle Fiber Arts. During the process, I was discussing with Sarah, the talent over at Sea Turtle Fiber Arts, how I enjoyed the colorway and she told me the fantastic story of it being dyed and named after her wonderful puppy Rosie. As a dog owner, I find such inspiration perfect!
Rosie is worked in the round and the pattern contains written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. Directions are for both cuff-down and toe-up. If you feel inclined to make 2 in the same direction, that’s completely acceptable, or one of each if you’re feeling particularly topsy-turvy! Rosie features 4 sizes; Small, Medium, Large, & X-Large. You’ll also find a sock worksheet, so you know how to measure your foot to achieve a perfect fit. Rosie has directions for an afterthought heel, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using.
The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks, however, the pattern notes do contain details should you wish to use double pointed needles instead.
