Snowball Fight

$8.50

I must confess that the initial autumn snowfall always spurs me to launch a snowball at Curt. The arrival of full-blown winter isn’t a prerequisite for our snowball fights โ€“ we eagerly embrace the snow whenever it appears. This spirit of playfulness and connection is perfectly encapsulated in our Snowball Fight sock pattern.

Imagine the scene: delicate snowflakes falling, laughter filling the air as snowballs fly. This pattern captures that essence, with intricate details reflecting our back-and-forth exchanges. A pair of socks that not only honour our snowball duels but also evoke the joy of simpler times.

So, whether you’re amidst the first snowfall or recalling cherished winter memories, slip on our Snowball Fight socks and let camaraderie warm your feet. It’s more than a pattern; it’s an ode to the happiness found in the simplest moments.

Worked in the round, Snowball Fight contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives).

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers โ€“ so you donโ€™t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).
