June 1st – Scout

July 5th – Oakley

August 3rd – Emerson

September 7th – Tripp

These patterns are also available for individual sale should you wish to pick and choose.

Worked in the round, each sock pattern contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The patterns have instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives).

All the sock patterns are written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers – so you don’t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).

These patterns are available in our Standard formatting. Low-visibility and screen-reader-accessible versions of this pattern are available with this pattern purchase. The low-visibility format is 24pt print in Arial, black font, no italics, and contains written directions (there are no charts to work from). The screen reader format has all the items mentioned above, contains no abbreviations, and accessibility was checked by the read-aloud function on both a Windows PC and Android device.

Finished Measurements For Each Pattern

(Measured around the ball of the foot.)
7.5 [8, 8.5, 9]” / 19 [20.5, 21.5, 23] cm circumference — choose a size that will give you 1-1.5” / 2.5-4 cm of negative ease. The finished measurements do not factor in negative ease, these are the actual measurements for the finished item.

Tapestry needle, cable needle, scrap yarn, stitch markers

Suggested Needles

US1 (2.25 mm) 40” (100 cm) circular needles, or size required to obtain gauge

Yarn Requirements Per Pattern

200-500 yds / 183-458 m fingering weight yarn (depending on the length of your foot and leg)

32 stitches by 40 rounds in stockinette = 4” / 10 cm, after blocking. Gauge is crucial in obtaining the correct fit. Changes in gauge will result in a size difference for your finished socks.
