Techniques used in Morning Dew (listed in alphabetical order)

Bead: Slip a bead onto the stitch while it’s on the left-hand needle, purl stitch. If you’re new to beading, you may find this tutorial helpful. If you’re omitting the beads, simply work this stitch as a regular purl stitch.

 

K: Knit.

 

K2tog: Insert the right needle into 2 stitches simultaneously and knit the 2 stitches together. (1 st dec)

 

K3tog: Insert the right needle into 3 stitches simultaneously and knit the 3 stitches together. (2 sts dec)

 

M1L: From the front, lift the horizontal strand between stitches with the left needle. Knit through the back loop. (1 st inc)

 

M1R: From the back, lift the horizontal strand between stitches with the left needle.  Knit through the front loop. (1 st inc)

 

P: Purl.

 

Sl1-k2tog-psso: Slip one stitch knitwise, then knit 2 stitches together and pass the slipped stitch over. (2 sts dec)

 

Ssk: Slip 2 stitches, one at a time, knitwise. Knit the slipped stitches together through the back loops. (1 st dec)

 

Sssk: Slip 3 stitches knitwise, one at a time, knitwise. Knit the slipped stitches together through the back loops. (2 st dec)

 

Yo: Wrap the working yarn over the right needle, from front to back (counter-clockwise). (1 st inc)
