Who could resist the timeless allure of a classic lace pattern? Artemis not only puts your skills to the test but also graces your knitting with sheer delight!

In harmony with our beginner-friendly pattern, Apollo, Artemis emerges as a knitting joy. With a refined lace motif adorning both the front and back of the sock, be prepared for a rewarding challenge if you’re venturing into this pattern territory for the first time!

Fret not, as we’ve equipped you with both written instructions and a chart, making navigation a breeze. You’re free to choose your preferred way of acquainting yourself with this pattern. After all, the ultimate goal is to craft some fabulous socks, isn’t it? So, dive in and let Artemis lead you to a world of groovy socks!

Worked in the round, Artemis contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives).

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers โ€“ so you donโ€™t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).
