Strange Magic is more than just a sock pattern; it’s a celebration of the captivating allure of self-striping yarn. With an innovative stitch that harmonises beautifully with the ever-changing hues of self-striping yarn, this pattern invites you to embark on a journey of knitting magic. Witness the transformation of simple skeins into mesmerising stripes, as each stitch intertwines with the next, creating a symphony of colours that dances across your needles. Strange Magic not only elevates your knitting experience but also showcases the enchanting potential of self-striping yarn, leaving you with a pair of socks that exude a truly unique charm.

Strange Magic (DK) – Worked in the round, this pattern provides both cuff-down and toe-up instructions for a seamless DK weight sock, accompanied by charts for pattern motif. While the pattern comes with instructions for a heel flap and gusset, itโ€™s adaptable to your personal preferences and unique feet. Links for alternative heels have been included!

With multiple sizes, you can easily achieve the perfect fit with the intended negative ease. Iโ€™ve written this sock pattern with magic loop in mind. However, you can also work on double-pointed needles instead if youโ€™d prefer (just use extra markers to denote the instep and sole stitches).

To further assist you, a link is provided that contains additional resources, such as yarn substitutes and a technique playlist. These tools give you everything you need to create your masterpiece confidently.
