Techniques used in Shambala (listed in alphabetical order)
(k1, p1, k1) in 1 st: Knit, purl and knit into the same stitch to make 3 stitches from 1. (2 sts inc)
(p1, k1, p1) in 1 st: Purl, knit and purl into the same stitch to make 3 stitches from 1. (2 sts inc)
Brk: Knit the stitch that was slipped in the previous row together with its yarn over.
Brp: Purl the stitch that was slipped in the previous row together with its yarn over.
K: Knit.
K2tog: Insert the right needle into 2 stitches simultaneously and knit the 2 stitches together. (1 st dec)
Kfb: Knit into the front of the stitch, leaving the stitch on the needle, knit into the back of the same stitch. (1 st inc)
M1L: From the front, lift the horizontal strand between stitches with the left needle. Knit through the back loop. (1 st inc)
M1R: From the back, lift the horizontal strand between stitches with the left needle. Knit through the front loop. (1 st inc)
P: Purl.
Pfb: Purl into the front of the stitch, leaving the stitch on the needle, knit into the back of the same stitch. (1 st inc)
Sl: Slip specified stitch(es) purlwise with yarn in back.
Sl wyif: Slip specified stitch(es) purlwise with yarn in front.
Sl1-k1-psso: Slip 1 stitch knitwise, then knit next stitch and pass the slipped stitch over. (1 st dec)
Sl1yo: Bring yarn to the front, slip the next stitch purlwise, then bring the yarn to the back over the needle and the slipped stitch. The slipped stitch and yarn over are counted as 1 stitch.
Sl2tog-k1-p2sso: Slip 2 stitches together knitwise, knit 1, then pass slipped stitches over. (2 sts dec)
Ssk: Slip 2 stitches, one at a time, knitwise. Knit the slipped stitches together through the back loops. (1 st dec)
Yo: Wrap the working yarn over the right needle, from front to back (counter-clockwise). (1 st inc)
