Apollo

$8.50

Are you a new knitter seeking a straightforward sock pattern to hone your newly acquired knitting skills? Apollo is tailor-made for you! Comprising simple knits and purls, it lets you infuse your socks with a touch of texture, taking a step beyond the basic vanilla sock pattern.

And let’s face it, finding the right size can be a challenge. Ill-fitting socks are a no-go, especially when you’re just navigating the world of knitting. Hence, Apollo, along with every sock pattern from rhyFlower Knits, is equipped with helpful links not only to ensure a proper fit but also to provide insights into selecting the ideal sock yarn.

Worked in the round, Apollo contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for a peasant heel (afterthought heel using scrap yarn), but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using (links included for alternatives).

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers โ€“ so you donโ€™t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).
